Jonathan provides detailed lifetime planning advice to clients and executors, trustees and beneficiaries of estates, trusts and settlements.

He has a pragmatic approach to solving problems and arranging client’s affairs in a tax-efficient manner to provide them with the best possible outcome given their circumstances.

Jonathan’s areas of specialism are:-

  • He practices as a Notary Public holding a Faculty from the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Office, and therefore deals with International matters.
  • Lifetime Tax Planning including the creation and management of trusts; the management of estates with the preparation and completion of Wills and other testamentary documents.

Jonathan qualified as a solicitor in 1985 and, having studied at Keele University and College of Law Chester, subsequently attended Madingley Hall Cambridge University to qualify as a Notary Public.  He retired as an equity partner in a regional law firm in 2014 and subsequently took up a consultancy appointment with BBW.

Outside of work Jonathan lives in the North West Essex county market town of Saffron Walden.  He is a committee member of the Local Arts Society and vice president of a bowls club.  He also enjoys spending time in Lincolnshire where he has a second home, and pursuing his interests in the arts.
